Sky Q & Netflix
Last March I had no option but to change to Sky Q, during the sales pitch conversation I was told Netflix would be included at no extra cost, due to the TV package I had.
Purely by chance yesterday when I was querying my bill, as I recieve discounts due to being Sky for over 16 yrs, I was told I pay £4.50 pm for Netflix. I said it was a mistake as per the call in March 2025. But I was told no, pay £4.50 pm.
I have just rung Sky & asked can they listen to the call made in March re the Netflix/Paramount Plus being included free due to my existing TV package.
As anyone else had this problem or was I just told incorrectly back in March.
I have searched through all my bills & cant find Netflix £4.50 just Netflix "Already yours with ads".
TIA for any info.

Re: Sky Q & Netflix
£4.50 is the ultimate pack which includes getting Netflix basic. With adds in the package at no extra cost . I am not sure what else includes.

Re: Sky Q & Netflix
The baseline 'Sky Signature' doesn't include Netflix.
'Ultimate TV' has Netflix Standard with Adverts.
£4.50pcm is about right for the difference between Signature and Ultimate TV.
Perceptive consumers might notice this means Netflix isn't actually 'free' at all: it's 'no extra cost' as long as the subscription is for Ultimate TV

Paramount+ Basic is 'free' to Sky Cinema subscribers.

Re: Sky Q & Netflix
Hi thanks for reply. So what is the difference between Signature & Ultimate? The only thing I dont have on my Sky Q are childrens packages( if they exist) but everything from all Sky Channels, plus sports, MUTV. My broadband, landline & mobiles.
I know £4.50 pm isnt a lot, but its what I was told on the phone to finding out I am paying for something I thought was included or free as I was told.
I was told Paramount Plus is free & Discovery Plus Entertainment is free on the same call.
I would just like Sky to listen to that call from last March, because I asked would there be any add ons at a later stage & told no.
I know it is what it is, but was just curious if anyone else had come across this charge without knowing about it.

Re: Sky Q & Netflix
Sky signature is SkyQ version of the basic Sky entertainment on Sky Q ultimate tv is the Netflix bit, The ultimate package is Sky stream version of entertainment package (there full entertainment package they have two the other is essentiallvut dose not have many Sky channnes manly made up of the free one )Sky stream ultimate dose not have nearly many channels as SkyQ signature . however I don't think ultimate is available on Sky Q

Re: Sky Q & Netflix
'Ultimate TV' on Glass & Stream is more or less the same as Ultimate TV on Q: there's some me variation in channel availability.
'Essential TV' on Glass & Stream isn't available on Q: it's basically the free to air channels plus Netflix Standard with Adverts and Discovery+ Basic
'Television Essentials' on Q is just free to air channels without any bundled apps.
Netflix is never actually 'free': like Comcast it has investors and shareholders who really don't like that word.
