Sky Q Mini box Pixelates, Loses sound

My sky Q Mini box has been fine for 6 years no problems whatsoever.

 

It is watched and on about 18 hours a day every day.

 

Watching the TV is absolutely fine but recorded programs are different. Sometimes it records a program and it's pixelated with intermittent sound all the way through but I can watch the same recorded programme absolutely fine on main box.

 

Sometimes if you forward wind the picture and sound comes back and you can watch as normal. Sometimes it's the whole programme sometimes is a few seconds. 

It isn't every programme but it's on enough to be frustrating.  Sometimes it's fine and has been throughout the programme then a forward wind the adverts and it throws it into this pixelated mess. But if I rewind back to begining of of adverts and play it without forward winding it plays normally. 

I have played it all around the house including next to the main box. 

 

It's not the signal because you can record 2 programmes at the same time and one is pixelated with no sound and the other one is absolutely fine.

 

The only option I had on the website was to ask for a replacement which I did as I can't call as I have temporary hearing loss.  Also it says to hand the old one to delivery man but I am disabled and bed ridden so unless they arrive when my carer is here I am unable to do that. If my carer is here it's not a problem.

 

Just to add if you watch the programme on the main box it's absolutely fine. So both boxes (main & mini box) can be playing at the same time the main box plays fine but the mini box Pixelates. This can happen when they are next to each other or in different rooms. The signal is fine as the actual programme on the TV there is no interference on live TV or recorded TV downstairs.  

 

This has been going on for a year or so and getting worse

 

Any ideas?
