Sky Q 2 TB box?

• I'm just curious.. how would I order a 2 TB Q Box? I'm just wondering as I know you need one if you want more then one mini.

I thimk the only way is to call SKY - the  online options to upgrade were removed a while back when there was a shortage of 2TB boxes & were not re-instated when they came back in stock.

You don't actually need a 2TB box - some of the info pages are out of date - the newer 1TB UHD boxes (which can be a cheaper upgrade) also support 2 minis

Edit: I am just checking that you do have one of the non UHD boxes and not one of the later UHD boxes and just assuming you need an upgrade based on the info pages

The non UHD box shows as 32Cxxx in :

Home - Settings - System Info - Hardware Version

(if it shows as 32B2xxx then it is a UHD box which can support 2 inis)

In which case, as you thought, you will need to upgrade to use 2 minis concurrently but as I mentioned you may find that an upgrade to a 1TB UHD box a cheaper option than a 2TB box. 

The 1TB UHD boxes are now the standard and are a lot more available than 2TB boxes 

If you need a number then:

If you have the MY SKY app I think you may be able to find a number there - especially if you are a SKY VIP member
If not go this page & scroll to the bottom and expand the link need more help
