Setting up sky mini box have connected to network but not sky q box

Setting up sky mini box via a wifi booster it's connected to my network but won't connect to main sky q box. Both boxes are on the same network

Is the Booster a Sky Q WiFi booster?

Minis will not connect by WiFi to 3rd party boosters or 3rd party WiFi.
