Series Link Functionality
I may have this totally wrong but has the Series Link functionality changed, or something in Sky's back office functionality missed it up.
I am pretty sure that it used to be tied to a soecific programme series on a specific channel. So if a series got shown on a different channel at a later date it didn't get recorded again.
recently I have noticed I am getting recordings of programmes I recorded and watched some time ago because they are now being shown on another channel. Has happened on various combinations of main channels, BBC, ITV, Sky etc and rerun channels like Alibi, Dave, ITV3 etc.
any way around this. I don't want to remove the series link as I will want the next series to record when it comes out. I just don't want every repeat under the sun.

On a side note if you take a look on the Geektown website you can opt in for email notifications for advance notice when a new series is about to be broadcast. The notifications come about 10 days before the series starts.
