Re: Second TV reception
Not sure. Nothing on my contract details states either if these. I note that on MySky there is an offer of Multiscreen for £8 pm so this may be what I'm after?

Re: Second TV reception
Hi @DON36
You need multi screen and one mini box (they should come as a package )
The mini box is literally that - a small
black box which connects wirelessly to your main Sky Q box and plugs in to your second TV with an HDMI cable.
It will allow you to view your existing Sky channels (other than UHD) on a second TV
Depending on the distance between the main box and mini box (and the thickness of walls in your home) it will either connect perfectly or not.
if not then you might need to ask for a booster box to bridge the gap beteeen the two , but you will probably need to try without first to see how you get on.
Anything you have recorded on your main box can be viewed on your mini box (again, not UHD) . Anything you record from your mini box isn't recorded on that box as such - it sends a signal to your main box and records on there.

Re: Second TV reception
Thanks for your help - really useful. I found the Multiscreen area in "Manage your Sky TV" and "ordered" 1 mini box. The message accompanying this was "To add Multiscreen you need to checkout via your basket" but I've been unable to locate "basket". I checked "my orders" but nothing there so how do I take this forward?

Re: Second TV reception
I've tried that but no joy. I keep getting the same response even when I specifically ask for account suppoty from a member of staff. I'll try the "Contavt us" route.

Re: Second TV reception
Do you have the option to upgrade from your Sky Q menu @DON36 ?
Go to your TV and your Sky Q menu. Then right down at the bottom you will see MySky
Press enter on there
Go along to "upgrades and accessories" and see if there is a section for "Sky Q multiscreen"
That will offer you some ways to upgrade if the option is there.

Re: Second TV reception
Sky mini box received, installed & working fine. Thanks again for your help. The bit that was "missing" from the MySky site was referral/direction to the Sky store.
