In case you’re not aware, this is a customer helps customer forum. You aren’t talking to Sky Customer Services here. Is there a particular reason you need to know?

You can tell by looking at it closely

Q wideband LNB default has 2 outputs. Hybrid is longer and usually has 6 ina 2+4 arrangement. Old HD usually have 4 or 8.

Really ancient ones discovered in the Valley of the Kings can have 1 or 2 which is unhelpful when identifying them but if you have Q you have wideband or hybrid anyway.

Re: Satellite

So if I buy a freesat 4k, due to bills being too high, would my lnb work on it?

If you're currently using Q then yes.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own
