SKy Q mini box pixelating and sound freezing

As above had Sky engineer check it out said it was wireless interference , and more or less infered that nothing could be done, have read some of the posts in this forum about hard wiring the BT router and the   mini box  but he didnt mention this whats the point in having a mini box if it doesnt do the job,
