SKY Q

We've recently changed to a Sky Q box and it's a nightmare. 

I can no longer manage my box recordings in the app as I could with Sky+. I find that really annoying.

Everything is SO hard to find. 

I like lists of what I've recorded with details of when I recorded them and which channel. Just seeing a pile of pictures I don't recognise, that I've got to scroll through is driving me mad. 

Even in the Sky go app there are only long, long screens of pictures and no information. Am I missing something? 

Is there another app where I can control the box?

This definitely seems like a big step back to me. I hate it. 

If I want to join a programme that is already recording snd I select it, it starts where it is live. The start at the beginning option only comes up AFTER I've been into the programme and gone backyards a bit. Again  what an I doing wrong. If I'm recording it, I obviously don't want to watch it from the middle!

Both in the Sky Go App and the Q box you can view all your recordings in an A to Z list.

You will find this in Recordings - Sort

On the Sky Go Home page you will see Recordings on the bottom menu on the right hand side.

Once you open recordings you will find Sort by in the top menu.

Select Sort by and you see the Category title.

ie Entertainment.

Expand this and you see

• Entertainment
• Movies
• Kids 
• A to Z

Thank you for trying to help, but I don't have that option in my SkyGo app. The options on the bottom bar are, Home, TV Guide,  Browse and Download.

Hi @Francesw 

To connect to your Q box to Access Recordings etc you do need the Monthly Multiscreen subscription.  This is necessary to connect any devices using the Sky Go App.
