Evening guys, I have a faulty Q2TB box. My new box is arriving tomorrow (19th Oct 23)via DPD. The email from DPD says to give the faulty box packaged up to give to the driver. This has all happened today so good service from Sky. Usually I've waited for the return box from Sky. So what do I do?
Thank you.....

hi @killer2500
You don't need to package it up - it goes back in the same packaging that they bring the replacement in
You need to have it ready & theoretically the remote & leads - although you can probably leave the new ones in the box if you prefer - unless either your old box or the replacement is a V2 box with a separate power supply
DO NOT FORGET to take out the Viewing card before giving the old one over

So how do I know if it's the V2 box? Is it the power lead?

So if the power supply is different the box will be the V2? As my "old" box is not HDR.
Thanks.....

Hi @killer2500
V2 box has a separate power Supply.
V3 has Power lead direct to Q box (figure of eight IEC C7 power lead)

Morning, me again. Will the box that's arriving be the "latest" version? As my faulty one is non HDR.
Thank you.....

hi @killer2500
As @GD1 says it is normally like for like - if you have a non HDR box it is extremely likely you will get a non HDR as a replacement.
There are 2 versions of HDR boxes & when HDR boxes are replaced either may be sent but as yours is not HDR this is likely to be irrelevant
SKY Charge for upgrades from non HDR to HDR so don't normally upgrade them for free even as part of a faulty box replacement

Thank you, I've been trying to buy an HDR box but having a nightmare online or getting to speak to a human! Doing my nut in. Been with Sky for a decade so would like to have the "latest" box.

Further more I have Q2TB box is it worth the upgrade? My tv is 4K UHD with Samsung HW-Q60T soundbar 5.1
