I just upgraded to a Sky Q box, and was annoyed to discover that the PIN is still a "feature".
My PIN from my Sky HD box didn't work.
The default 0000 didn't work.
The last 4 digits of my Sky account number didn't work.
The last 4 digits of my bank account number didn't work.
I can't reset the PIN in the Q box, because it's asking for the current PIN.
I've logged into My Sky and reset the PIN a few times, and powered the Q box off and on again.
But the new PIN number still doesn't work on the Q box.
Help!

@spud71 the default pin number on Q is the last 4 digits of your viewing card
you can find your card number by pressing the home button scrolling down to settings then system info
I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

Re: Reset PIN not working
Ah!
The card number PIN works on the locked channels, but the Reset PIN screen says that it's the wrong PIN (and it also refuses the PIN that I reset the PIN to in MySky).
I guess that I'll just have to put up with this buggy "feature".
Thanks.
