Replacement box and remote, volume control not responding

Original box failed so was sent replacment box and remote. Set-up as instructions with no problem, but volume control on remote  and mute button have no effect.

Hi @Shoedad2008   Have you paired the new Sky Q remote to control the volume and mute on your TV. Simply hold down 1 & 3 and follow the instructions shown on your TV. Note the Sky Q box must be in the line of sight (not hidden or in a cabinet).

My remote dose not work have tried new batteries still not working u said u would send me out a new replacement remote for my Q box with voice control it has been over 8 days and still have not received itc

We didn't give a timeframe or send out a new remote. This is predominantly a customer led discussion forum where Sky customers are available to help other customers. You aren’t contacting Sky Customer Services by posting here.

 

You can easily buy one at larger supermarkets, Argos etc.
