Replacement 1 box is a dud

Hi.

I got a replacement Sky Q box as ours died last Sunday. Got it Christmas eve but it is as dead as the original. I cannot arrange a replacement as the original is still in progress seemingly. And to top it all off, Sky make it extremely difficult to talk to someone. So no TV over Christmas and no help. What steps can I take?

Alan.

Re: Replacement 1 box is a dud

Starts up, blue pulsing light, red led...then stays doing that.

Hello comes on the screen, then notification it'll take a couple of minutes to set up then a black screen. No recovery processes work.

So a lovely blue pulsing decoration with a red light for Christmas.

Hi @Alan_Rossiter

If the Q box will not switch on and stays on Amber led.

Have you tried pressing the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the Q box.
If this turns the Q box on
With the Q box on with green led try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair to TV.
