Is there any way to remove a PIN number on sky? I can only see an option to change the PIN, not to remove it.

hi @Theresa1
When SKY Atlantic & other channels show certain material before the relevant 'watershed' it will always be present & you cannot turn it off
Do, however, check that all the relevant options in Parental Controls are appropriately set but as I say you may need it for some
Our advice is set the PIN to something like 1111 to help enter it when needed

Re: Removing Pin from sky
I'm not sure we're talking about the same pin. I installed this pin myself to stop the kids but now they've grown up I don't need a pin

This says you can't remove the Mandatory Daytime Protection PIN.
The Ofcom Broadcasting Code (“the Code”) allows for films rated up to ‘15’ by the BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) to be broadcast during the daytime on premium subscription channels and up to ‘18’ on pay per view film channels, provided that they are protected by a mandatory PIN code. This form of protection is called mandatory daytime protection (“MDP”) and cannot be removed or bypassed by viewers.
Following our consultation in March 2018, this document sets out Ofcom’s decision to extend the application of the MDP rules in the Code to permit scheduled television channels to show programmes, which can currently only be shown after the 9pm watershed, before this time, but only if mandatory daytime protection is in place.
Ofcom has carefully considered all consultation responses in reaching this decision and this statement concludes the review. The revisions to the relevant rules to extend MDP beyond premium film content will come into force on 1 January 2019.

Re: Removing Pin from sky
Additional PIN control on top of MDP is described here:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/managing-parental-settings
To turn PIN protection on or off for pre-watershed shows:
Press Home on your Sky Q remote and select Settings, then Parental.
Enter your Sky TV PIN.
Select Family, then PIN on pre-watershed playback.
Select On to PIN-protect rated shows before the watershed, or Off to remove the need for a PIN.

Hi @VB24 We are talking about the MDP pin (9pm watershed). What do you mean by "I installed this pin myself"? If this pin was removed then Sky would not be able to broadcast post watershed content until after 9pm which is why enforce it.
