Obviously I understand how red button works. But coming from an ex virgin media (at my old address) to then using BT TV (at my new address). I never had sky (at old address couldn't get it due to line of sight).
my question is what red button content is there? I have had a play by simply 'pressing red' on various channels at various times to see if something would happen...
so far...
Thats all I know (so far), are there any others? not much info on this.
while we are on the subject of buttons I know Green, does the 'watch from the start' as well as on selected sky channels allow you to 'book' a recording from an advert. And pressing d-pad right will execute last channel. Are there any other hidden combinations/functions?
Thanks in advance.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHi @BCX9 Sky Q has been designed to do away with random colour buttons to do random things. Use the Menu. If a colour button does something you will be prompted on screen. I take it you have found the Sky button, it goes to your Recordings.

yes I knew about that one, as I read the manual/video. To be honest alot of it is the same as other boxes.
Red button was a huge thing in the past. Especially with Sky Active, I remember being able to change the pitch camera.
Thanks for your reply though.

I should also add that I found it 'odd' not having a button to open the guide. Took me a while to 'adjust' to it. now I use the mini guide or use the main menu to get to the main guide.
