Re-routing cable from one room to another

Hi All,

Anyone have a rough idea how much Sky charges to re-route your SKY cable from one room to another.

My current cable comes into my living room and I want to route it to another room. I already have a multi-room box upstairs so just trying to weigh up paying the engineer to move the cable or whether to purchase another multi-room. I'm thinking a one-off engineer charge would be cheaper than paying another monthly box fee but wondered if anyone has done similar. Thanks

I don't know the cost, but it might be quicker to get a local independant installer to do it.  Also, you should note that there wouldn't be an increased "monthly " charge for an additional mini box, just a one-off admin charge.

Sky are likely to charge around £65 to reroute a new cable
