Q box no sound

Q box has to be unplugged more and more to get sound back. I have had to unplug it about 7 times this week to get the sound back.

Its the box for sure as sound works on my Google chrome cast and nvidia shield when no sound from the Q box.

Also the box is very noisy most of the time. 

Is it time for a new Q box?

 I'd say so based on the noise alone. Not sure if hoovering the vents might help.
