Problems with both main Q box & mini box

I went to watch tv on my mini box tonight and the screen asked me if it was the first time connecting this box or if it was a new box etc then it told me to reboot my router and check that my devices were not off. Tried rebooting the box but it didn't help. Prior to rebooting the router I  had checked my main Q box and it was working fine. Rebooted the router and the mini box continued to say the same message. I then went to check the main box and it told me I had no network connection so I tried plugging a brand new Ethernet cable into the back of the box. The Home Screen came back on and then I got a message on screen saying 'this screen does not support HDCP so I checked the HDMI lead was connected properly which it was, needless to say I am now completely stumped as to what is going on. I did disconnect the router from the mains earlier today as I've been decorating but my broadband and WiFi and landline are working perfectly. I'm not messing around with it now as it's nearly 11.15pm but can anyone offer some advice? The tv connected to the main box is only 2 years old. Do I need to get an engineer out?

Hi @Fly+bee In the following order:- Try rebooting your router by removing the power cable for 30 sec then reconnect to reboot, then reboot your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on, then do the same with any Mini boxes?

Re: Problems with both main Q box & mini box

I managed to fix it this morning, for some unknown reason my mini box had a different netwothan my own, the downstairs tv was ok again and I reset the mini Q box so it connected to the right network!
