Problems voice sync Sky Sports main event UHD

Back with a vengeance tonight this lip sync problem. Was sorted the other day. Shambolic.

Sync out again on all Qatar broadcasts so far.

Once it is lost, change channel and then back to SkyF1 it is ok again until next advert break

Get this all the time on my sky glass and this channel. Sometimes if I change channel and then flip back it sorts itself out. It's infuriating

Same here happening multiple times in the 2 weeks since getting Sports - terrible when paying extra for UHD. It's unwatchable.

It's been horrific and all we constantly get is that it's our network / ISP. Sky need to take more responsibility and ownership whether it's this or other issues. Last night on ITV during the rugby I got technical issue screen and program waiting to load

My issues though are on Sky stream. Will say again, it's a great product, but needs updating

I found a solution that has worked for me yesterday and today watching the football on 401. 

401 has terrible lip sync issues but if I switched to the normal HD channel that the programme is on (402, 403 etc) and when the channel banner pops up saying ' select for UHD', if I do this I do not have the same lip sync issues that I do with 401. 

I have no idea why this seems to solve the issues (at least for me) but, touch wood, it's a work around for now.

Sky Sports ME is encoded entirely separately from Sky Sports 1. That might seem a trivial difference, but, it has a profound difference to the setup of the Dolby Sound. On Sports on they can have a more stable set up. The HD is down coded from the UHD output feed. I suspect the constant reconfiguration for ME is what causes the instability. I don't know their service chain but it could be they also use different encoding hardware and software that makes like for like configuration impossible. The problems may not go away until the service chain is tackled. There may be good reason but the separate encoding for the two channels is the probable cause. Why they don't switch the Sky 1 (or which ever) output via a DA directly into the ME uplink/output is beyond me. There's probably good reason that Sky won't divulge.

I am a VIP client whatever that means and have been suffering the dreaded UHD sync and picture drop our seen via UHD channels especially premier league .it has been progressively getting worse and even using live sync is unacceptable. I pay for the full sky package through sky Glass and have EE fibre top package with super fast broadband .

despite this watching sports in UHD is intolerable and frankly unwatchable ! What is sky doing about this and will I get a monetary refund as i can only watch in HD?

sky super Sunday completely ruined , in the end watched on sky go on iPhone - absolutely ridiculous

Lip Sync Issue on Channel 401 UHD, no settings will make any difference to the problem.
