Poor customer service

The advisor was poor as a customer of over 25yrs he wasn’t interested the deal he offered was ridiculous my contract runs out in September- all he did was push Sky Glass which I have had and that was the worst experience I have had I just want a fair price for my Sky package? He also wanted to sell me broadband I am with BT . Please sort this out.

Sorry, but Sky aren't obliged to offer you any discount.

Sales marketing may be unwanted but it's not poor customer service. Just say firmly that you're not interested.

If Sky's offer isn't to your liking, simply switch provider, where you'll no doubt be offered an attractive new customer deal. There doesn't appear to be anything for Sky to sort out.

@Captain+DT

There's nothing to sort out. The agents are limited in the discounts they can offer.

It’s apparent that significant discounts are harder to come by these days so if you’re offered something acceptable be prepared to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer is unlikely to be available when you call back.

Also remember you’re not a new customer so don’t expect anything close to a new customer deal which would be unrealistic.

You could always move to a competitor and then in 18 months move back to Sky and benefit from new customer discounts.

Bear in mind it's only your discounts that expire.  If you take no action your contract continues on a 31 day rolling basis...

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
