Why not?

 

They aren't connected in any way and should be plugged into separate HDMI Ports on your TV.

I bet turning the PS on turns the TV on which then wakes up the Sky box via HDMI-CEC and switches to its input.

 

Should be able to just manually change the hdmi input on the TV back to the PS.
