Picture ratio

I've noticed lately that programmes on Sky max are not recording in 16.9 picture ratio. Does anyone know why this is?

Hi @Reevehead   It is called aspect ratio. Sky broadcasts in a fixed format and the only adjustment that is available is controled by your TV. There is no adjustment on Sky Q. Anything other than 16:9 should have black bars.
