Picture goes blank and comes back after few seconds

It's been happening for a while where we are watching anything from sky sports or the FA cup final now and the screen goes black and loose signal for few seconds and comes back again!

Have you tried a different HDMI cable?

Definitely sounds like a sync loss problem, most likely thanks to a dodgy cable
