Ongoing Sky Mini Box disconecting!

My Sky mini box in our bedroom constantly drops connection to main Sky Q Box and Router / Internet. Every evening.

I have to do a full reset of the Mini Box pressing WPS button on main box / Router etc.

I have just received a new (or second hand) Mini Box from Sky. This Box is even worse than previous! I am on EE Superfast Broadband with an EE extended just out side the room plus an RE550 TP Link Tether extender in the bedroom plugged into the mains. 

I have done 'everything' regarding resetting both boxes, after doing a full reset on both I can usually get the minibox to work. then a few hours later it has lost connectivity again! 

Any idea's?  Is the main Sky Q box possibly faulty? Router and all other wifi devices working fine.  Can anyone help before I contact Sky again?

Neither your EE or TP Link hardware can provide wireless signal to a Q Mini: only a Sky Q or Sky Broadband booster can do so

Hi, thanks for this information.  I do not know about Sky Q Wireless Booster /s ? I have a long distance from my Router / Sky Q Box to the Mini Box. I thought this was covered by my EE extender and TP Link ? I will contact Sky.

Sky hardware released alongside Q in 2016 specifically intended for free loan to Q customers who have issues with wireless signal on Mini boxes.

Thanks again. Sky used to supply Sky Q extenders but no longer ! An engineer must call and **bleep** the situation. I have a couple of weeks to wait with a duff mini box . I'm not very happy. But thanks for the info, appreciate it.
