On demand problem

Hi there, 

Just had sky q installed today, have got sky cinema package but when selecting a movie  the message 'to use this service you need to upgrade your subscription ' appears, any ideas what the problem could be? Any help would be much appreciated

Hi, I think one of the more senior customers(this is a customer-driven forum) will need to escalate this direct to Sky for you.

 

It's worth trying to contact Sky, go to this link: https://www.sky.com/help/home

Scroll to the very bottom of the page and now select the Need More Help dropdown, this will lead to a phone contact.

Ignore the automated messages, just wait for an advisor

Have found that on demand tv is not working aswell, but all live tv/movies working fine. I can also watch the movies on demand using sky go, just not on my sky q box. Called the help number and tried to wait on an adviser but the message said most departments are closed at 9pm so will try again tomorrow. Thanks again for the advice.

Just to update, contacted sky through the sky help twitter page, was helped by Nicole who sent a signal through to the sky q box and all is working fine now 😊 thanks for the help
