Not getting some channels

Recently my sky q has stopped working properly and I am not getting channels like any of the STV channels  or Channel 4 ones either .

 

If I go yo channel 803 I get ITV but still can't get any of the plus 1 or 2 channels etc

Hi @IanU 

Try rebooting your Q box.

To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)

note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

 

If the issue remains you have a dish alignment issue.

Work through the following link and if you cannot solve your issue it will lead to booking a Engineer.
Alternately, if you are on a Communal Dish you will need to contact your Landlord or Management company.

This did not work. It only seems to be itv channels and channel 4 channels that are not working ever since I phoned to downgrade my package.

Very likely to be a dish alignment issue. Follow the steps at https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-tv-no-satellite-signal-sky-q and you'll be able to book an engineer visit to resolve it.
