No internet connection

I cannot connect my Sky Q to the internet. Sky deliberately avoids allowing me to speak to a "human" their virtual assistant keeps referring me to their help sites than give phone numbers that are not recognised. For goodness sake how do you get something fixed if the online help doesn't work and you can't talk to anyone!!!!

You let  the virtual assistant ask you questions and you answer if its says they are going to send you a link ignor it, it will then ask if " that is all " or word to that effect. You say no it will then asking if you are sky account holder and may be the password on the account. You will the be put forward to a human customer service agent

Some customers report there was a problem with the Customer Service phone lines earlier today so perhaps that's having a knock on effect with customers now trying again.
