Sky engineers do NOT remove Sky dishes unless replacing it for a new one. Coukd this have been an independent engineer you arranged?

This doesn't make any sense! Why would the engineer take the dish away without replacing it? Are you sure he didn't say he would return with a replacement dish?

I am just another Sky customer!

Or, do you mean you were due to have Sky Q installed, the engineer came with a dish, couldn't put it anywhere to get a signal so took the dish away again?

I think you're going to have to phone Sky. Don't say anything to the voice prompts and you should get to a human faster.

Can't believe they don't contact you if a Q install can't be completed.
