I have moved into a property in which Sky reports there is TV arial.
The on-site SKY engineer confirms that there is no TV arial to provide TV signal for the current SKY TV box which requires TV broadcasting signal. The current SKY TV box can support TV viewing without the TV signal.
The SKY engineer suggest to contact SKY support for either the installation of the TV arial or switch of the TV box to type that support web streaming.
Kindly provide me with the SKY support chat browser-link for the follow-up assistance. Appreciated.

As Sky boxes do not utilise TV aerials for transmission, installation of an aerial would be pointless.

I think there is possibly a terminology issue here.
Firstly SKY Q uses a dish so when you are referring to an aerial do you mean dish ?
What we normally refer to as an aerial is for Freeview TV from a land based transmitter
Is it a normal house or is it an apartment where there might be a communal feed ?
If a SKY Engineer has visited & thinks you need a dish, did they say why they couldn't install one ?
Hopefully if we can understand this better we can point you in the correct direction

I am using SKY Q. In the new home, there is no satellite dish available. After a prompt clarification on SKY chat, it is understood that SKY can install a satellite dish for SKY Q and we can keep it as long as the TV contract lasts.
Another option is to change from SKY Q to SKY Stream using internet. I have decided to go for SKY Stream.
Many thanks for your prompt response.

Thanks @Richard+Brown
So would I be right in thinking you had SKY Q at an old address and now moved to a new address that doesn't have a dish ?
Also am I correct in thinking you have managed to chat to someone at SKY rather than an enginer visit you ?
If you have decided to change to Stream you need to be aware that it it is different in quite a few respects (most notably recording being replaced with Playlists as well as needing good internet)
