New sky q box

On receiving my sky q box driver insisted that I give him the old sky hd box. 
Have started set up on the new box but can't go any further as viewing card has been taken away by dpd driver.

The driver shouldn't have taken the HD box.

If you are changing from HD to Q you need an engineer as the LNB needs changing,  Even with the card it won't work.

You need to call Sky.

@Michael6862 do you mean you had an old Sky Q box that wasn't capable of UHD or do you mean an older Sky+HD box that would need the LNB changing on your dish if the 2nd then as @PandJ2020 says they shouldn't have taken the older box but Sky should have sent an engineer to change the LNB and bring the new box.

Im inclined to think it was the first option in which case you need to contact Sky to get a new card sent out

As @PandJ2020 indicates, a doorstep swap is the process to replace one Sky Q box with another Sky Q box, typically because of a mechanical fault.  It's not appropriate for a move from Sky+ to Sky Q.
