Re: New mini box
@Paulb1308 You would need to call Sky for another mini box as we are customers here.
You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.
If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.
Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

Samsung 75" 4K TV, Sky Glass Gen 2 55", Sky Stream, EE FTTC Broadband, Three 5G Broadband (Backup), Sony 7.1 AV Receiver, Technisat MultiSat receiver.

Re: New mini box
Hi @Paulb1308 The Ethernet cable should go from your Sky Q Main box, it doesn't use your Gigaclear network. The best solution (which I have) is Main Sky Q box Ethernet to an unmanaged gigabit switch, switch to Mini box(es) and switch to Gigaclear router. I take it you already have a Multiscreen subscription. You need to contact Sky to request the loan of another Mini box and pay the one off admin fee (£50ish).

hi @Paulb1308
You can use a maximum of 2 minis at the same time for SKY content - Satellite/Recordings- (only one if you have the non UHD box - Hardware version 32Cxxx) although you can have up to 4 on the account
You may be able to use more at the same time if the first ones in use are only being used for Streaming apps such as Netflix or Disney+
Regarding the connection , as your network is not SKY, to work you will either need a direct connection from the mini to the main box or the Main box & mini both connected to the router or unamnaged switches (i.e. both boxes on the same cabled network)
