New SkyQ box hasn’t been delivered

I ordered a new skyQ box approx 2 weeks ago. It was supposed to take 3 to 4 working days but nothing has been delivered. I also cancelled my sky sports subscription and this has not been done. This has affected my Christmas viewing as my SkyHD box is defective. Not happy !

If you've ordered Sky Q it's not just a case of sending out a Sky Q box. An engineer visit is required to set it up and carry out work on your satellite dish. That typically will take 3-4 weeks not days. 

Cancelling Sky Sports involves a 31 day notice period so cancelling 2 weeks ago will mean having it another couple of weeks.

Installer appointments are particularly scarce at this time of year: short working days, bad weather and seasonal holidays make that somewhat inevitable.

 

It's Sky Stream which gets delivered within a few days of ordering for self-installation: moving from Sky+ to Sky Q typically requires the LNB on the dish to be replaced.
