Netflix quality mini box

I've just started to notice the image quayon done programs on Netflix is really poor. Watching the fall of the house of usher last night and the dark areas were really blocky. Checked the bitrate and it was streaming at 0.56mbps/1080!!!!!. Logged in and out of netflix, still the same. Internet all fine speed test showing around 70mbps. Tried a Roku box just now, and connection good(40mbps). Same episode streaming at 3.71mbps/1080. Tried sky mini box again just now, and still poor. Anyone have any ideas??? 

Sky mini connected to main box with sky's mesh, and main connected via ethernet to router. 2.4ghz switched off on both boxes.

Just bought another Roku box. The apps on sky q are just terrible. Unfortunately TV in bedroom isn't smart. Don't use the apps on the main q box. At least I can watch sky store films on my big screen TV now without having to resort to casting or other such ridiculous practices to see rented movie on TV if purchased with store credit.
