Netflix Add on - To Sky Signature

I have Sky Signature which is contracted till 02/07/24. I'm looking at adding Netflix on to this, when I log in it's telling me on the main screen it's £6 per month on a rolling 31 day contract, when I go into my package to add I get 3 options, basic with ads @ £3.50 , without adds £9.50 and another one at £14.50 , and all these say 18 month contract. No mention of £6.  Am I missing something here. I was hoping I could just pay £6 a month and see how I go as not had it before. Any help would be good.

hi @JillyCooper

I suspect the page you are see with the £6 is out of date as that was the basic cost prior to SKY aligning their set up in December 2023 with the new tiers that Netflix introduced mid last year..

SKY's pricing changed, as I mentioned,  in December so anyone signing up after then get the new strcucture.

These prices you quote seem to be 50p per month less than the 'list' price for the rolling monthly cost (i.e £4 with ads, £10 ad free  (both HD & 2 screens)  & £15 Premium (UHD  4Screen)

I am not sure why you don't get the option for the monthly rolling option - you might have to call to get it

Also, you can take a subscription direct with NetFlix - there are contractual lock-ins and you cancel any time.

You can still use the Sky Q app regardless.

If you want to keep it then you can consider adding it to your Sky sub.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Although Netflix direct List prices are slightly higher £4.99, £10.99 & £17.99

(but also easier to cancel as you can cancel online unlike with SKY where you need to phone)

Edit : P.S.  Only relevant to some but you can only take out the new 'extra member' subscription for family members away from home direct with Netflix
