My sky remote has stopped controlling my sky q box

I've came back of holiday and my sky remote will not work my sky q box

@midgemondo Try resetting your remote.
Press the buttons 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes twice then follow onscreen instructions to repair the remote.

I  have tried new batteries and the restart as specified 7-9 then 1-3 when I press 1 - 3 nothing happens
