Multi room

Hello all

I have got a spare multi room box, can i take it to my father in laws house and use it through his sky account ?

If he has multiroom then it should be possible, but is against the t's and c's of your Sky Q contract to use equipment at an address other than your own. If the box is 'spare' and you are not using it you really should just return it to Sky. All Q hardware is their property and they'll charge you for any you don't return at the end of your contract.

Thanks for the quick reply. It would only be for a month or 2 and I would get it back. He is quite poorly at the moment and wanted a tv to watch upstairs.

If he doesn't have a multiscreen subscription then the box won't work upstairs anyway. What about if he uses Sky Go on an iPad/tablet/laptop instead? It doesn't need a multiscreen sub.
