Moving house to a temporary address

I'm moving house to a temporary rental due to delays with our new house, however we have no idea how long we will be there for - it could be a number of weeks to a number of months. Will I be charged by Sky for having an engineer out to move us twice if we do end up moving to our permenant home in a matter of weeks?

Does the rental address have a satellite dish, and if not do you have permission from the owner to get one installed?

Without a dish, Q simply isn't going to function, and if you're not permitted to get one then it's a moot point anyway

Obviously Sky isn't going to want to carry out two new installations on one account in quick succession.

Yes the rental property does have a satellite dish installed. The problem is we do not know how long we will be at the rental property as we have not been given a timeframe with our new purchase.

Then it comes down to whether the LNB on the dish is a newer one which is compatible with Q, or an older model that's only for Sky+ and Freesat.

One option would be to move in, connect the Q box yourself and find out if it gets a signal.
