Mini box constantly losing connectivity with Sky Q box

Last Sunday when it was stormy, our mini box kept losing connectivity with the Sky Q box. We just put it down to atmospherics at the time, but it's carried on disconnecting ever since.

I've trawled through this forum, and I've tried 'every' feasible suggestion so far lol 

I've rebooted both boxes several times. I've also done the 0 0 1 reboot, the Hard Drive reboot, changed the channel width from 80-36 to 40-44, and moved the Sky Q box a cpl of foot 🥵 

 

I'm all out of ideas 🤯

Should I request a Sky engineer, or order a new Sky Q box (ours is about 8yrs old)? 

(To add insult to injury, our Wi-Fi has been playing up since we moved here a few months ago. It drops out between 25-36 times per day. But that's a BT problem)

Hi @Simon1402 

Have you tried a Network set on the mini?

Network Reset found in mini Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to WPS with main Q box.
You will be asked to press the WPS button on the main Q box (not the mini as the Network reset will start the mini WPS automatically)
