Mini box connectivity dropping in / out despite new eero 7 wireless network

Mini Boxes keep dropping connectivity in and out, so frustrated that I bought the latest eero 7 nodes for a better wireless network. Initially this all worked perfectly, the new wireless network named all of the boxes in order skyq, skyq-1, skqe-2, skyq-3, skyq-4, skyq-5. After a few weeks there was an update from Sky, all of the nodes reconnected using SKY UK UNLIMITED and it has been a **bleep** storm event since. My sky Q boxes must be at least 5 years old and there are no other hardware models or upgrades to choose from and I am not spending more money moving to Sky Glass which I hear from friends has similar issues. Help......

Q Mini boxes cannot use a wireless signal from non-Sky hardware: that's been a limitation since they were launched in early 2016

The Q platform is now approaching end-of-life (as is all satellite television transmission to the UK/ROI) and the last hardware revision was in 2019 with the release of the 1TB UHD HDR main box model.

To successfully use non-Sky mesh nodes, Q Mini boxes must be connected to them over ethernet cable, with their own WiFi switched off.
