Mini Box “check your subscription”
Woke up this morning to my mini box giving the "check your subscription" message. It was working perfectly fine before I went to bed last night. I 100% have multi room on the account, and have checked the my sky app to confirm this.
We have a deco WiFi system, but both the sky q main box and mini are Ethernet wired (the main box into the router and mini into one of the moveable deco m4s). Again this all worked perfectly fine last 2 days.
I have rebooted main box, rebooted mini box, turned the main box and mini box 2.4 and 5ghz wifis on and off, everything. Please advise!

Hi @MDev1 In the following order:-
Try rebooting your router by removing the power cable for 30 sec then reconnect to reboot, then reboot your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on, then do the same with any Mini boxes?
I used to have superpowers… But a therapist took them away.

Re: Mini Box “check your subscription”
Tried, twice. Each time it comes back to the same situation with the main box working fine and the mini turning on but giving that message. When I attempt to reactivate the sky mini box from the main box in the settings section, the message "the sky a box needs to be authorised to use this service" message.

Re: Mini Box “check your subscription”
So the solution was bizarre:
afterter rebooting router, main box, mini, updating all sky q software, removing Deco mesh and restarting, still the same problem persisted. Main box was fine, mini box gave subscription message.
I decided to plug in an old mini box that had been suffering from the red light issue where it won't turn onto standby, and saw it wouldn't even turn on when plugged into the same outlet as the subscription message mini. I check on another plug socket and the red light came on for the broken mini, so I figured the wire/socket may be faulty. Found a new multi socket adapter, and bingo, the subscription message disappeared and all worked fine??
no idea how a poor electrical line could cause a subscription message to appear, but touch wood it has worked for
48hrs with no issues. Safe to say I won't be cancelling my engineer who is due next week just in case!
