Re: Mimi box freezes
I've had a similar issue over the last couple of days. But strangely only with BBC.
It was really bad last night on BBC 1, if I left it on bbc1 it would keep locking up and at the same time if I was on the x box I was getting a ping of 500ms when I usually get 10.
I had to actually pull the network cable out of the box and that sorted the ping.
I tried resetting the network network settings. I went in and manually set the IP address to something I knew wasn't taken on the network. Still the issue persisted.
The main Q box is fine though.

Re: Mimi box freezes
I was having the same problem all day today. Did a full system reboot of network and sky boxes which didn't fix the problem.
Sky Q main box had the same IP address as one the home PC's. Rebooted the PC and fixed the problem.

Re: Mimi box freezes
Might have been the same issue then. In the end I'd had enough. Restarted the router, and restarted the other parts of the network. As so as I did that everything sorted itself. No lockups, ping was back to 8ms and Netflix's started movies instantly.
