Most simple faults are fixed with a full power off. Unplug your Q box for 5 minutes, power it back up and check if the problem still exists.
If it does and this is on live channels, you may need to request an engineer visit.
If you are referring to watching apps, there is already a long thread on these issues that Sky are looking to resolve.
