Ensure your TV is on the correct input.  Hit the 'Sky' button on the remote too.

 

Try a reboot of the Q box if necessary.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Hi @Julia+Moir 

If your Q box is showing an Amber Led (and not Green) have  you tried pressing the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the Q box.

If this turns the Q box on
Try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

 

If your Q box is already showing a Green Led

First make sure that the TV is switched on and is switched to the HDMI input to which the Q box is connected.
Then with the Q box switched on with green led illuminated
Press
Home 1 0 8 0 Home
on the Q box remote control.

This will change the Q box to standard resolution which will work for all TV’s.
