I've just gone into recordings and 90% have disappeared........not happy........went into 'deleted' nothing there!! Really not happy with this lots of good programmes and films.......just gone......😡. Contract up soon May as we'll head over to Virgin!
any ideas??

I suggest you try a full power down restart
Use the remote to place it into standby mode
Then remove the power to it (either switch off at mains or remove the power plug)
Wait at least 30s
Then re-apply the power & wait for it to fully restart - this may take a few minutes.

The hard drive is not a permanent archiving medium. What sort of 'recordings' where they as some are subject to licence terms and will expire automatically.

It feels like recordings are a personal permanent archive but the rights holders changed that a few years back.
OR the hard drive is on its way out.
