Loss of Sky Mini Connection

Hi All,

Just changed from Sky to another internet provider and now my Mini box isnt working, showing its lost connection to the Sky Q box. Guessing its lost range now. What is there I can use to get the range back?

Re: Loss of Sky Mini Connection

Have you reset the network on the mini box? I changed ISP this week and had to do all the boxes individually.

@Thebig1 have you rebooted your main box ie turned off at the plug for 30 seconds then do the same with the mini. If that doesnt work you may need a booster from Sky so you would need to contact them for one

@Thebig1 Sky should supply the booster for free

If you were on Sky BB before it's possible the mini was connecting to the router. Now it has to connect direct to the Q (or another mini, or a booster).

A Booster near the new router, if it's in the same location as the old one might do the trick if this is what's happened.

Re: Loss of Sky Mini Connection

The SKYBB router was on top of the SKYQ box before. The Vodafone router is about 6 feet away now
