Disconnected my satellite wires and now they won't connect again

It can be that removing the cables you may have bent the centre copper wires.

Check the cables and try inserting them again.

Yes I did think that. And reconnected them a few times. Lining them up and swapping them over.  They might he damaged I'm thinking now. Thank you
