Linked sky to the wrong Disney+ account

Hi all.

So. I saw the Disney+ addition to Sky, and immediately enabled it. I then got sent the link to link my sky and Disney+, which I followed. That same evening I had been logged into my Disney account amending a booking for disneyland under a different email address, and as such my Sky got linked to a brand new Disney+ account, which was empty. It prompted which email to use for my Disney+ enablement, and autofilled my current email for my Disney account into the field, and I mistakenly confirmed it.

Ever since I have tried all manner of things to get these unlinked, so that I can correctly link my Sky to Disney+ under the right account. I have had multiple support calls open with Sky, all of which got nowhere, and only managed to remove Disney+ from my subscription, which then you re-add Disney+ to your account, it just re-enables with exactly the same setup, no new link email, no detail, just shows abck up again in the portal. I even went as far as completely deleting my newer Disney account to try and "force" the delinking of Sky and Disney+, still nothing. Sky support says that my email on my Sky MUST match the email I use for Disney+... I believe this is incorrect, as when I first linked these up it PROMPTED me for my Disney+ email account, why would it do that if Sky and disney email HAD to match?

I have spoken to Disney also, they say they cannot see any of my accounts linked to Disney+, and my Sky acocunt number doesn't appear in the list of linked accounts.

After fighting with Sky support over 4 times now, i'm hoping this post is seen by someone who specialises in this area and can complete the following:

1. Actually Decouple my Sky account from Disney entirely

2. Retrigger an addition to my account of Disney+, which then fully starts the linkup pipeline again and allows me to properly relink my actual Disney+ account to Sky, and finally get some use out of this service.,

Thanks in advance.

James

****** THEY FIXED IT!! ********

The Sky team have been constantly keeping me updated while liasing with Disney directly to get this resolved for me, and today they advised me to check, and everything has been linked up successfully!

The direct support team behind these forums, have, over a single incident, COMPLETELY restored my faith in Sky having compentant, technical teams behind the scenes who not only actually get things fixed, but actually LISTEN to the issue, acknowledge a problem and take it away to be sorted.

100% on comms guys, kept me in the loop on progress (without me prompting them I will add) and followed it all the way through to resolution. 10/10. Thankyou!

@Jaffa374

This issue is in large part due to Disney moving to a unified "MyDisney" login, one email address to rule them all.

If you had an existing Disney+ account with one email address and then a different email address for the parks etc., why not change the email address to match the original Disney+ account?

Re: Linked sky to the wrong Disney+ account

Yep, its annoying.

My Disney+ was signed in with 1 email, but when I booked Disneyland I was in the process of moving to a new email address, so I used the new one (old email is 20 years old at this point, full of spam).

What that means is, both emails are marked as "in use" by Disney's all in 1 login system, so I can't just change the email. That's what I tried to begin with.
