Leaving sky tv
Hello.
After being with sky since it started in the UK I am reluctantly leaving its service. I have tried to shift over from Q to Stream whe my SKYQ contract ended but the greed shown by SKY in trying to charge me £40 to deliver me a puck when new customers get it delivered free has angered me. I was looking to go like for like with my old contract and possibly add sports but it would seem sky don't really want people to move to stream....loosing out on possibly £50 month contract.
I considered myself a loyal SKY customer but may well also look to move my broadband and mobile as loyalty seems to get no reward.
Is anyone else finding SKY uninterested in keeping existing customers

Re: Leaving sky tv
Customers seem to be finding it increasingly difficult getting the discounts they were a couple of years ago but I would have thought Sky would have been very pleased to accept you as a Stream or Glass customer. Is the £40 charge your only gripe? It might be worth calling again to see if you get a better offer.

Re: Leaving sky tv
Thanks for the comment, I've phoned several times but they seem to want the £40. I would have thought they would want my custom but seems not. That's really the ony gripe but as new customers are offered free set-up and delivery I'm unwilling to pay. I can manage perfectly well with all the streaming services we subscribe to.
