Re: Leaving and Re-joining

Oh dear. Never mind, I will just see what they can offer, and what happens with the movies etc that you purchase when you leave? Surely you own some sort of copyright over them?

You never 'purchase' the movies nor can have the copyright.

However, you do retain a licence to play them.  https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-store-top-help (You just need a compatible device for the Sky Store App)

Then what happens when you leave? I've spent a ridiculous amount on purchasing movies, so would I just lose them all?

Did you look at the link?  You can continue to watch using the Sky Store App.

Re: Leaving and Re-joining

Yes I did, but I was unsure about how long your account will remain open for, for you to carry on using on sky store. Or is that a separate account all together?

Hi @Jess2609   No, you simply can watch them using the Sky Store Player. https://www.skystore.com/n/hwtw/help/faq/ways-to-watch

Hi @Jess2609 you don't need a Sky Tv subscription to access Sky Store all you need is a Sky ID or email address password and a payment card

Even if you leave Sky

On certain Smart Tv's you can lnstall the Sky Store App my LG tv has this.

Re: Leaving and Re-joining

Been a customer for 20 years just cancelled it all. Cancellation department attitude was not that good, after a £10 per month price raise next month they come back with a offer of approx 60p per month cheaper, and that was it before the price rise.  Take it or leave it attitude. After nearly 20 years of paying for Sky so much for being a good customer.  So goodbye Sky. New customers get the benefits, original customers get to pay for it.

@ossies

You no doubt benefited from new customer discounts 20 years ago. In 18 months time you'll be able to rejoin and get the benefits again.
