Help required re cancellation/downgrade
Been a customer for 26 years and was hoping to full on cancel and move to Virgin as their deal was outstanding. Seems however that because I couldn't supply me with a landline (which I didn't want) meant I wasn't eligible for the offer. So their offer price increased, so I would have been paying more for less of a service (with no landline). Gave notice in June and my contract runs out on 6th July. Tried to keep the Ultimate package but they then cancelled my cancellation, and put my full account on again for 30 days before, they would drop the cinema and sports, and hence charge £143 for the first month. Has anyone had any joy in just getting them to just carry on 1 element of their previous package ? What I want is for the Ultimate package to kick in on the 7th July, and the other elements just to expire, and for my years with Sky carry onto 27, rather than start at 1 for being potentially classed as a new customer. Cheers for any help
